Doc's Story:
We are in the paint horse business, but every once in a while something comes your way you just can't resist. That's why we have "Doc" this beautiful buckskin stallion.
His previous owner had him at a trainer's for 18 months. No training was done, she finally brought him home, but circumstances beyond her control forced her to have to sell all her horses. She asked Jeff if he knew anyone who might be interested in him. He tried to resist (and actually lasted about 10 minutes) and finally told her he wanted to buy him.
Doc's not a big stallion, but his confirmation is about as perfect as a horse can get. Jeff knew he hadn't had any actual training and had spent the last 18 months in a stall. So he figured he would be a handful to work with. Not only is Doc extremely intelligent, but he also wants to please. His training has turned out to be a joy for Jeff. He thinks about what he's doing and except for an occasional distraction from a wanton female horse, he does very well. He picks up on everything quickly and learns easily.
Jeff absolutely loves him. He is now available for breeding and for sale, prices at $3500.
