Our Training Program
Jeff Farmer is the local Horse Whisperer, he breaks and does initial training on horses. Working on the basics, first building the foundation of what they know, then when they are finished they will walk, trot, cantor, load in a trailer, stand for spray and stand for the farrier. Additional training can be added.
He specializes in gentling and de-spooking a horse, and riding out for smoothness of gait and keeping their heads down. He does not believe in starving a horse or beating. He believes in getting the horse trained by the gentlest means possible.
He will not break a horse before it is 2 years old at least. He usually takes 30 days unless weather precludes training.
He charges $400 per month or $100 per week. If he keeps the horse longer than expected because he isn’t able to ride as much as he needs, he only charges board
